The man who got on a stage in front of millions of viewers and said “George Bush hates black people,” and whose song lyrics are notoriously racist against whites is at it again.
Kanye West recently had an interview where he explained what happened in an altercation with an angry teen and his views on racism. West is currently facing charges for battery after allegedly punching a teen in the face who was slinging racial slurs and yelling death threats at his wife, Kim Kardashian. West claims he felt his wife was in danger so he took action.
West’s concern is that the altercation will lead him to having to explain to his daughter what a ‘f-d up world’ we live in and that this isn’t the environment he wants her to experience. Meanwhile, he’s made millions off of the very people that make up the ‘environment’ he doesn’t want his daughter to be raised in.
This is an about face for West, whose song lyrics have un-apologetically repeated the N-word while bashing white people for everything under the sun. He told a reporter that he is “dreading the day I’ve got to break this sh*t down to North and tell my little girl how f**ked up the world is. I don’t ever want her to go through what her mother did today. If that happened to Nori, it would be a different outcome entirely.”
Near the end of the interview West really exemplified what a double standard is when he told the reporter that “sh*t like this makes me want to take Kim, Nori, and her whole family and move out of this country and go someplace small and quiet.” He added “we’ve got enough money to buy our own island or some sh*t. I’ll be damned if I raise my daughter around ignorance and flat-out blatant racism.”
